We are delighted to let you all know that Widnes FC have been named as the FA’s National Squad Girl’s Football Session of the Season winner!

Each week our sessions provide opportunities for females to play in a safe and positive environment and this award is to recognise the amazing work we do!

What’s next?
The FA will visit our session and bring a film crew with them to capture this amazing success so that we and the FA can share the news nationally.

What’s more, our Squad Girls and their coaches have also been invited to attend the Squad girls Experience Day taking place on Thursday 1st June at St Georges Park in Burton. As the home of football to all 23 England Teams, it promises to be a memorable event for the girls who will have the opportunity to participate in Squad related activities throughout the day.
