WIDNES FC have had their application to the Cash for Kids Sports Challenge accepted and we will begin a months long fundraising challenge from 12:01am Saturday 16th September 2023 to Mid-day Monday 16th October 2023.

All funds raised will go straight back into the club and if we are the club that finishes first in the fundraising challenge, Cash for Kids will match fund up to the value of £5,000! That means if we raise £6k and finish 1st in the challenge we will receive £11,000.

Only money that is received on our personalised Cash for Kids page during the open period will be counted so please look out for this landing on Saturday.

This is a great opportunity for the club to raise funds and gain exposure across social media platforms across the north west – and we cant do it without you!

We need you to get involved raising money for the club in any way you can – sponsored events, smarties challenge, sell raffle tickets, match day footie cards, host a bake sale.
Get your workplaces involved – corporate sponsorship is accepted.

For those that are creative, there are additional prizes of £500 for the most creative fundraising and another for best use of social media – so get videoing and snapping and interact with our socials. We would love to see some of the players taking over our social media to promote the fundraising.

Our target for each player is to raise £10 each (or more if they can) – that’s over £6,000 cash for the club which goes towards all of the fantastic facilities, equipment and end of season awards.

Plus! There will be a prize for the team that raises the most money during the challenge.
